Every step is in Canadian dollars with no lock-in. Prontco Verified is optional on all three: when a property manager, strata or realtor books you through us, we keep 8% of the labour after you’re paid. Nothing on your own customers, no lead fees.

Year one, all in

What your first year actually costs.

Government fees are the same whichever step you pick, and they go to BC Registries and your city, never to us. Business bills from month 7 at the latest — sooner only once your page books $1,000 in a calendar month, which means the work is coming in. Jobber Connect is US$139/mo, converted at the Bank of Canada rate of 1.4254 (Oct 5, 2026); it files nothing and includes no marketing; Vancouver local-SEO retainers run about $800–$1,500/mo (third-party survey of Vancouver SEO pricing, checked Oct 5, 2026; not the vendors' own pages). + applicable government registration & licensing fees, billed at cost — we quote your exact figure before filing.

Price from getjobber.com/pricing (Connect, month to month, the lowest plan with QuickBooks sync), checked October 5, 2026. Exchange at the Bank of Canada rate that day. Prices change; check theirs before you switch. Built for 1–5 person crews in BC; a bigger crew may suit Jobber better.

What we don’t do

Three things, so the rest is believable.

  • GPS tracking. No live map of your vans. If you run a fleet, you want a fleet app.
  • Payroll. We sync your invoices to QuickBooks; we don’t run payroll or T4s.
  • Crews over five. Built for one-to-five-person crews. Past that, a bigger job app earns its price.

What we do that the job apps don’t: the registration, the city licence, WorkSafeBC and GST, filed for you, with the government fee at cost on the same invoice.

Same price in every city

The government fees are the only thing that changes.

Our three steps cost the same from White Rock to the North Shore. What differs is the city licence, so each city page lists its real fee and bylaw:

By trade: cleaning, painting, landscaping, handyman, pressure washing, mobile detailing, HVAC, epoxy flooring, junk removal. Fee rules: the inter-municipal licence, registering a sole proprietorship, GST.

Questions

Before you pick a step.

Can I leave whenever I want?

Yes. Business and Growth are month to month: cancel from your billing page and it ends with the month you’ve paid. Launch is one-time with nothing further owed. Every account we build — domain, website, Google profile, booking, payments — is in your name from day one.

What about government fees?

They’re billed at cost, never marked up, and we quote your exact figure before anything is filed. Registering a sole proprietorship in BC is $70 all in (name request plus registration); an incorporation is $380. City licences run from about $166 (Richmond, 0–5 employees) to about $450 (Vancouver, general contractor with the application fee) a year. The Metro West inter-municipal licence is $300 a year; the Tri-Cities one is $175. The year-one calculator above uses these figures.

What’s the 8%?

If you join Prontco Verified and we dispatch a job to you from a property manager, strata or realtor, Prontco keeps 8% of the labour on that job, after you’ve been paid. Nothing on your own customers, nothing on materials, no lead fees, no monthly fee for the list.

Do I have to be Verified?

No. Verified is optional on every step. It needs six things on file — BC registration, a licence in every city you work, WorkSafeBC clearance, $2M liability insurance, GST registration and an identity check — and it opens dispatch from buildings that ask us for vetted trades. On Growth you get dispatch priority when you’re Verified.

What happens to the Launch fee if I leave Growth early?

Launch is $0 with Growth. If you cancel Growth before 6 monthly payments have been made, the one-time Launch fee ($497 sole proprietor, $997 incorporated) is invoiced once, due on receipt — it’s the honest cost of the build, not a penalty. After 6 paid months it’s waived for good. There’s no minimum term and no other exit fee.

How long does Launch take?

About 10 business days of build work. Name approval, registration and licence decisions sit with BC Registries and your city; Richmond, for example, puts standard licence processing at four to six weeks, which is why it goes in first.

What if I’m already registered?

Then you don’t need Launch. Start Business, upload what you have, and the filings you’re missing are “Get it for me” buttons in the app — $0 once you’re on the plan, $23 each before, plus the government fee at cost.
